Austin Wedding: Saba & Elias

Close your eyes and picture an elegant, romantic wedding an hour before dusk. The bride’s dress and bouquet capturing the beauty of the sunset with colors of violet and deep reds while the groom wears a suede, dark blue tuxedo. The couple, defining a timeless beauty and in love.

Saba and Elias came to The Cupcake Bar with a specific look and design for their special day and together we worked extensively to make sure our service and presentation would fit perfectly, showing off their personalities and uniqueness. Planned by the classic Eclipse Event Co and held at the Victorian Allan House, guests truly felt like they had stepped out of Austin and into a storybook with mystical décor and floral by Gypsy Floral.  It was an Austin wedding not to be forgotten.

After the traditional cake cutting, came the big unveiling of a special dessert wall we have been working with the couple on for months!  On cue, the black, velvet drapes were pulled back as we surprised the guests with a completely custom treat wall, perfectly representing the bride and groom! Our cupcake bartender was costumed and ready to help guests create their customized cupcake on our cupcake bar. The wall included custom dipped caramel apples and custom colored doughnuts. Along with serving guests, our cupcake bartender also encouraged everyone to swing by at the end of the night to take a caramel apple or doughnut (or both!) home as a late night treat. Guests were dazzled and made to be felt as if they were a kid in a candy store. They each enjoyed their treats at this wedding, making the night an even sweeter one to remember.

Themed weddings and events can definitely be a fun way to express an idea or represent the couple!  Setting up our dessert bar options to perfectly reflect that personality, is what we are experts at doing!  Contact The Cupcake Bar for your next special occasion and together let’s create an unique experience specifically for you!
