When Sal & Broc envisioned their wedding celebration, they wanted more than a traditional dessert setup. They wanted an experience: something fun, energetic, and uniquely reflective of their personalities and love for Austin.

We were honored to be part of their November 2025 wedding, coordinated by the Hummingbird House. We brought not one but two interactive dessert services to their big day: a full interactive Doughnut Bar and our roaming Glow Orbit Tray. Together, these elements transformed dessert into a joyful experience woven throughout the celebration.

Setting the Scene: A Wedding Full of Joy and Personality

From the moment guests arrived at The Hummingbird House, it was clear this wedding was going to be full of joy, personality, and a whole lot of love.

Sal & Broc’s celebration had an infectious energy: lights glowing, perfect fall weather, and thoughtful details everywhere you looked. Friends and family gathered around the “I love you so much” neon sign wall, snapped photos with the polaroid guest book, had fun with a flash tattoo station, and smiled when they spotted the Austin-inspired vinyl favors waiting to go home with them.

Nothing about the night felt stiff or formal. Instead, it felt like a big, happy gathering of the people who love them most. Guests moved easily from conversation to dancing to dessert, sharing laughs (and impressive dance moves) throughout the evening. It was the kind of atmosphere that made connection feel effortless and every detail feel meaningful. It was a perfectly elegant blend of timeless and modern energy.

A Wedding Dessert Experience Designed for Connection

Instead of waiting until the end of the evening for cake, Sal & Broc chose to make dessert part of the party itself!

Their Doughnut Bar gave guests a place to gather, customize, and indulge, while the Glow Orbit Tray roamed the dance floor serving sweet treats wherever the celebration flowed (our staff member may or may not have snuck in her best dance moves, as well…). This combo created movement, interaction, and surprise—turning dessert into a shared experience rather than just a display.

It’s one of our favorite ways to serve weddings: pairing a stationary feature with a roaming service so guests can enjoy treats in multiple moments throughout the night.

Local Flair That Made the Celebration Personal

One of the things we loved most about Sal & Broc’s wedding was the way they infused their day with thoughtful, local details.

From the glowing “I love you so much” neon sign wall (iconic) to the Austin-inspired vinyl souvenir favors and custom matchbooks (so cute), every element felt intentional and personal. These touches gave guests something to talk about and something to take home; reminders of a celebration that truly reflected Sal & Broc’s story and their connection to the city they love.
