SHIPPING POLICIES

Our Ready-to-Ship Gifts are made by hand to order! We strive to fulfill your order as quickly as possible, while also ensuring your gift is made thoughtfully and with great care. TCB fulfills orders Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm CST. Once you place your order, allow 1-2 business days for production plus 2-7 days transit time for delivery. For a faster delivery, please see the "Shipping Options" below. If you would like to ensure your order is delivered after a particular date, please let us know in your order notes.

Shipping Options

At checkout, only shipping options that apply to the gift type will be available. TCB will always try to offer the most economical shipping possible, but some of our products do need to ship quickly to ensure their quality. For example: Since we are shipping from Austin, TX, temperature sensitive products (Candy Sushi Kits, seasonably available Cupcake Kits, etc.) will only have expedited shipping options available during the majority of the year. 

STANDARD GROUND SHIPPING

For our standard gift boxes, your gift will ship UPS Ground Saver. This service utilizes USPS for the last leg of the delivery, so deliveries are made all 7 days of the week to residential addresses. Depending on shipping distance, transit time can be 2-7 days. Expect longer shipping times during holiday shipping volumes or around Federal Holidays

For gift baskets in extra large boxes, your gift will ship FedEx Ground. FedEx Ground delivers all 7 days of the week to residential addresses. Depending on shipping distance, transit time can be 1-5 days.

TWO DAY SHIPPING

This option guarantees your gift delivery within 2 days after shipping out via FedEx Express, if placed Monday-Thursday. FedEx Express does not deliver on Sundays. This option will also prioritize production. Our team will work to get your order out the door the same business day, if ordered before 2pm CST. Non-temperature sensitive orders placed on Friday will be shipped out on Friday for delivery on Monday. Temperature-sensitive orders placed on Friday will be shipped out on the next Monday to ensure there are not any extra days in transit. If there is a Federal Holiday taking place during the gift’s planned transit time, TCB’s shipping team will reach out to confirm a later ship date.

OVERNIGHT SHIPPING

This option guarantees your gift delivery the day after shipping out via FedEx Express, if placed Monday-Thursday. FedEx Express does not deliver on Sundays. This option will also prioritize production. Our team will work to get your order out the door the same business day, if ordered before 2pm CST. Non-temperature sensitive orders placed on Friday will be shipped out on Friday for delivery on Monday. Temperature-sensitive orders placed on Friday will be shipped out on the next Monday to ensure there are not any extra days in transit. If there is a Federal Holiday taking place during the gift’s planned transit time, TCB’s shipping team will reach out to confirm a later ship date.

COMPLIMENTARY PICKUP

We offer complimentary pickup at our HQ in North Central Austin, Texas! Pickup is available Mon-Fri only, and please allow 1-2 business days for production. You will receive an email from us letting you know when your gift is ready for pick up, with our address and helpful directions. Please let us know in your order notes if you are planning to pick up your order on a particular date. Bulk Orders

Quantities of more than five gifts of the same type and/or going to the same location are considered bulk orders. We will notify you ASAP if your order’s production time will exceed 1-2 business days.

Shipping Uncertainties

There is always a chance of longer shipping times than promised by our couriers, even for our expedited shipping options. Once your order leaves TCB HQ, we are unable to make any changes to the delivery address or service. Our shipping team will be keeping an eye on tracking, and we will notify you of any issues with the gift’s delivery. 

Below are potential situations that your package can run into that will be out of TCB’s control:

  • Delay due to acts of God, like inclement weather, pandemics, etc. (in delivery zone, or along the route)

  • Delay due to operational factors (i.e. Package was mis scanned, package missed the outgoing truck, etc.)**

  • Delay due to local events, like major sporting events or local festivals

  • Delay due to missing address information, or courier cannot obtain access to building

  • Package stolen from delivery location (front porch, mail room, etc.)

  • Lost package**

  • Package damaged in transit**

**In some cases, TCB can file claims for these scenarios. We will reach out to notify you of any next steps, if we are able to process a refund from the courier.

Orders Returned-To-Sender 

If your gift is returned to us as undeliverable, we are happy to re-ship your gift following this protocol:

  • We notify you via email and/or phone call that your gift box has been returned, and the reason it was returned (i.e. invalid address, unable to forward, etc.).

  • You provide us with an updated/valid mailing address to attempt re-delivery.

  • We open the shipping box and adjust anything that may have shifted around within the gift box during transit to make sure the gift is in perfect condition to be shipped again.

  • We repackage your gift in a new, clean shipping box with new packaging material.

  • The fee to re-process return-to-sender gifts is $15 plus the actual cost of postage.

  • We will send you an invoice electronically and once the invoice is paid, we will re-ship the gift to your recipient within 2 business days.

  • If the invoice is not paid within 5 business days of the invoice being sent, the gift is considered unclaimed and becomes the property of TCB. No refunds or credits will be issued.

  • If TCB does not receive a response within 10 business days of notifying you that the gift has been returned, the gift is considered unclaimed and becomes the property of TCB. No refunds or credits will be issued.
